Bring relevant imaging, reports, referral paperwork, claim details, private health card, Medicare card and a medication list if relevant.

Initial consultation

Your osteopath will take a detailed case history, discuss your symptoms and goals, and complete movement and physical assessment where appropriate.

Treatment and advice

Care may include hands-on treatment where appropriate, education, activity advice and exercises matched to the person and presentation.

Plan for next steps

Your osteopath will discuss a management plan, including self-management options, review timing and referral or communication needs where relevant.
